We believe in transparency. Transparency of our stories, our selves, and what it takes to grow this community and help share our stories. In the spirit of that transparency, we want to give you an idea of our annual costs:

• Our domain name and subscription to WordPress which keep the website and this story-telling community up and running (Only $8 a month helps cover our WordPress subscription to keep COALESCE a smooth functioning website).
  
• Our membership to the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP) and subscription to Submittable helps make sure you have a smooth submission process, and helps us connect to writers, readers, and creators like you to build this community.
  
• We want to grow to and offer in-person story-telling, writing, and creative workshops and be able to ultimately hold contests, pay contributors, and hire a more diverse editorial staff. All of these require a bit of a nest egg.

Leaving a tip of any amount will help us with these costs and continue to grow this beautiful community and bring you meaningful and transformative stories.
